Sydney Institute in Ultimo are holding their Fashion show at Carriage works over several nights this week. The technical skill shown on the runway is phenomenal and I found the show completely mesmerising. It showcases work by the students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd years and is presented in several stories. Fantastic visual imagery fills the overhead screens giving you a heads up on the inspiration behind each grouping. Starting with peace and love of the 60s hippy era that inspired the Neon Dylon on recycled denim story. I was entranced by the suiting and tailoring and the finale of mongolian inspired cocktail wear and the artist Klimt was unforgettable.

I've been working on wedding bands (such an honour, thanks Nick and Lauren). I loved the result so much I've made more sizes and finishes. Here's Alex wearing Samson. Looks manly hey!
